Mississippi Paralegal Association
A Professional Organization
We are a professional organization dedicated to the paralegal profession. We support paralegal/legal assistants by promoting professional development, education, and the Certified Legal Assistants (“CLA”), Certified Paralegal (“CP”) and Advanced Certified Paralegal (“ACP”) examinations. Please contact us concerning membership or for additional information about MPA at @MSParalegals on Twitter or Facebook and info@MSParalegals.org.
The Mississippi Paralegal Association ("MPA") was founded in 1980 by paralegals in Mississippi who wished to encourage a higher order of ethical and professional attainment. The main purpose of MPA is to promote the profession of paralegals statewide. MPA supports, encourages and maintains high standards for the service, conduct, and ethics of paralegals.
MPA members have the opportunity to further their education and/or obtain CLE hours if needed. MPA sponsors monthly in-person CLE lunches, Spring and Fall Seminars, and we are happy to announce members to have access to CLE hours any time, anywhere.
Monthly CLE Lunches
In an effort to inform and educate, MPA sponsors monthly CLE luncheons. Our luncheons are held at the Capital Club (Downtown Jackson), 125 South Congress Street, Jackson, MS the fourth Thursday of January through October from 12:00 noon until 1:00.
The cost is $20.00 and reservations are required. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org by 12:00 noon on the Monday before the luncheon if you plan to attend.
MPA Members have the option to remotely attend our lunches by using Zoom.com.
